The lost art of letter writing inspired our 2020 HA Written Word product. The Digital Age has made advancements in so many areas but with gains comes loss and hand-written correspondence has been a causality. The 2020 HA Written Word product offers collectors a chance to grab a hand-written word or full signature from (90) different subjects – including (38) Baseball Hall of Famers plus Muhammad Ali and Paul McCartney of the Beatles. There are also nickname and personal stationary relics among the interesting cards available in this series. There will also be several limited edition 10th Anniversary cards from Historic Autographs – each card will only have 50 made. These 10th Anniversary cards are from our previous products – POTUS, Civil War Appomattox and the Mob – and will be embossed with our 10th Anniversary stamp. Unlike some of our contemporaries, 2020 HA Written Word has more variety than just one superstar – and the units will be complete words and phrases, no small words such as “it,” “I,” “and,” or “the.”
Plus we have full signatures of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Jackie Robinson, Bill Klem, Jimmie Foxx, Honus Wagner, Tris Speaker and so many more. No product has ever been release that with a ratio of “pull” for these names like our WRITTEN WORD product – these names will pop in 1-out-of-150 boxes.
Each box will contain two cards that feature an actual handwriting sample from a Major League Baseball player & surprise people like Ali and McCartney. Every box will have at least (1) handwriting sample or signature of a MLB HOFer. All items are guaranteed authentic by Historic Autographs, with digital images of the letters from which the samples were culled on our website. Big ticket signatures such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Jackie Robinson and Jimmie Foxx will have redemption cards for the full LOA added in the box for the customer to get once they have unveiled their treasure.
